The National - The Runaway

Having followed The National since their first album I was surprised to find I didn't particularly enjoy Boxer. The songs lacked the passion that Alligator did. They're still one of the best live bands I have ever seen.

This shows a lot of promise for the new album. I just wish they'd drop those horns as I think the same sound ruined Fake Empire!

65 Days Of Static - Drove through ghosts to get here

Saw these at Leeds Festival 09 and they were awesome. If you like Explosion in the Sky then you will love these.
